Olivia Rodrigo announces second Dublin date — here's how to register for tickets

The Dublin gigs take place in 2024 but fans are being asked to register for tickets now

Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo has announced a second Dublin date as part of her first-ever arena tour, with a total of two nights in the capital in 2024.

Following the success of her 2022 debut tour the SOUR tour, the GUTS world tour will take the American singer to venues around the world including Madison Square Garden, The O2, and — luckily for Irish fans — Dublin’s 3Arena.

The Dublin gigs will take place on April 30 and May 1 before the singer takes the much-anticipated tour to the UK and across Europe.

The announcement of the world tour comes following the release of Rodrigo's second studio album, GUTS which has already been dominating the charts with hits like ‘vampire’ and ‘bad idea right?’.

After all of the talk around Taylor Swift’s Era Tour, Rodrigo will have a similar registration process for her GUTS tour. Ahead of tickets going on sale for the Dublin dates, fans are being asked to register ahead of time in order to help “block bots, reduce resale and get more tickets directly into the hands of fans who want to attend the show”.

Fans can register for onsale now on oliviarodrigo.com until Sunday, September 17.

Once onsale closes on September 17, fans will be randomly selected to receive a code that gives them access to the sale on Thursday, September 21.

Presale ticket sales will also be offered to Three customers. Those with a presale code from Three can access tickets from Wednesday, September 20.

The three-time Grammy award-winning artist rose to fame with her hit song, 'drivers license' in 2021. The 20-year-old played Cork’s Live at the Marquee in 2022, describing the gig as one of the “most fun shows” she has ever done.
