Champions League Classic Matches

RTÉ2, 8pm

There are an awful lot of goals across the three games tonight, including the quarter-final second leg of Tottenham v Man City from last year; and the 2012 semi-final clash of Barcelona v Chelsea.

Coronavirus: A Horizon Special - Part 2

BBC Two, 9pm

There's been no shortage of debate around 'the science' of Covid-19, but this two-part show wheels out a trio of knowledgeable presenters to try and tease out the facts. Dr Chris van Tulleken, Dr Hannah Fry and Michael Mosley chat to various researchers about what we know about the deadly virus, and also show the knowledge gaps that still exist.

Potential vaccines and treatments are looked at, and mathematical models give us a glimpse of what the world could look like this time next year.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Film4, 9pm

Wes Anderson's comedy-drama from 2014 isn't for everyone, but those who fancy a little bit of quirkiness there's much to enjoy in the tale of an Alpine hotel run by Ralph Fiennes' character.

Normal People

RTÉ One, 9.30pm

Episodes seven and eight of the 12-part series. Not surprisingly, the relationship between Connell and Marianne continues on its erratic trajectory, but we do get a glimpse of life beyond Dublin or Sligo as she summers in her family's Italian holiday home.

Those scenes will have lockdown viewers fantasising about foreign parts.
