Kinsale Youth Support Services joined with people across the country this morning marking what should have been the Darkness into Light walk.
The annual Pieta House fundraiser was cancelled due to the Covid-19 crisis.
Instead of the usual 5km walk, people around the country got up at 5.30am and shared their sunrise moment.

To everyone who woke this morning to share a sunrise, who donated what you could, and to those sharing inspirational messages of hope we thank you! pic.twitter.com/HhSjJdSAOT
To mark the event, Kinsale Youth Support Services along with 49 emergency services vehicles drove through Kinsale as "a symbolic run" following the usual Darkness into Light route.
Fifteen-year-old Ruairi Devlin got some great footage and created a video.
