Working from home? Take inspiration from these gorgeous set ups

Working from home can mean putting your laptop anywhere from the kitchen or dining table to the spare bedroom, if you’re lucky enough to have one.

But it’s not always so easy – throw in the kids not being at school, the fact that you’re on a work deadline and the reality that the home office also doubles up as a nursery, and you might find yourself feeling less than zen.

While your ‘desk’ might be out of shape, there’s always internet inspo to keep you going. Here’s a selection of work from home set ups to inspire – and perhaps some small ways you could adjust your space, too.

And if you can’t? Well, ogling the instagram-perfect desks will have to do.

Wall art inspo

All the best insta-worthy offices have great wall art. A motivational slogan is always a winner.

Houseplants are a must

Every fancy desk set up has at least one cute pot plant. If yours are lacking, you could order online from a service such as Patch.

Books, books, books

Kitchen table chic

This magazine editor must have a lot on her plate to juggle right now – and she confesses that the kitchen table is her ‘office’. Still, she’s keeping things simple, Kondo-style.

Pen pot perfection

Throw away that old biro! Sorting out your pens is a fun thing to do and will have you ready for that next Zoom meeting with a feeling of purpose. Use old jars as pots (you could even decorate them with the kids as a fun activity too).

Cats as standard

And of course, all the cutest home offices have a pet nearby… usually a cat.
