Wednesday's TV Highlights: Veg-growing tips, and a gripping kidnap drama feature among today's best

Episode two of the dark but decent drama features the beginning of the trial of the man accused of grooming the girl that main character Nelly rescued in season one.

The enjoyable series concludes with possibly the least-known of the Irish mothers who feature, but the life of Alice McElwee is as interesting as any of the others.
Unfortunately it was also marked by tragedy.
She faced the hearbreaking situation of seeing her son, Thomas McElwee, deteriorate and eventually die as the ninth republican hunger-striker to lose his life at the H Blocks in 1981.
