Trust GXT 830-RW Avonn gaming keyboard

If you’re like me, a casual gamer, then you may be interested in the Trust GXT 830-RW Avonn full-size layout gaming keyboard with 12 multimedia keys. Designed for gamers this is a keyboard that looks like you mean business without breaking the bank.

The keyboards full-size layout makes it good for general purpose Windows tasks and not just gaming. The keys have a good amount of travel and are easy to type on, but are louder than typically found on something like a laptop keyboard.

The GXT 830-RW features anti-ghosting technology ensuring fast and accurate gaming and enables users to remain in control even when pressing up to 6 keys simultaneously. Ideal when playing MMO or FPS games, which involves complicated keyboard commands and requires pressing of multiple keys at the simultaneously.

The Avonn’s 12 direct access media keys make it possible to control music or the LED lighting of the keyboard. The LED lights have three levels of brightness which is good for dimly lit rooms, however, if you turn off the lighting, it’s hard to see the letters, numbers and symbols on the keys.

The Trust GXT 830-RW Avonn is available now from Argos, Currys PC World and Game €39.99.

The Trust GXT 310 Radius Gaming Headset

The Trust GXT 310 Radius Gaming Headset is a surprisingly light, taking into account its shape and size. Again, it looks the business with red accents under the headband and behind the ear cups.

Connect the headset via the 1m aux cable to a PS4, Xbox One or Switch or lengthen the cable with the 1m extension cable for a comfortable connection with your PC or laptop.

For such an inexpensive headset, I was surprised at how good the GX310 sounds. You’ll really feel the action, but they also double up as a decent option for listening to music. The microphone is adjustable and sounds good to those on the other end.

Overall, comfort is good, but I did find the over-ear pads pinched my ears.

The Trust GXT 310 Radius Gaming Headset is available now from Game, Argos and Currys PC World at €14.
