Cork Opera House have launched their talent hunt for their new summer musical production, 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.'

Producers are searching for two new stars to play the roles of Jeremy and Jemima Potts.

Speaking at the launch of the search, Eibhlín Gleeson, CEO at Cork Opera House said: "We have worked with some extraordinary young actors over the last number of years.

"We’re consistently blown away by the level of talent to be found in Cork and throughout Munster.

We really can’t wait to find the stars of this year’s show.

Auditions are to be submitted to an online platform here.

Applications will only be accepted from parents or legal guardians on behalf of their child and all photos and videos will be held on a secure site only accessible to the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Production Team.

Based on the beloved 1968 film version of Ian Fleming’s children’s book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the family-friendly show follows an eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts and his children, Jeremy and Jemima, who discover an old race car with magical properties.
