Emotional scenes as families reunite for Christmas at Cork and Dublin airport

There were emotional scenes at Cork and Dublin airports over the last few days as people living abroad were reunited with their loves ones.

Here are just a few of the families:

1. Sam Lucey meets his grandmother, Felicty Lucey from the Model Farm Road and Sam's mum, Didge.

2. Home for Christmas from Sydney are Ross, DJ and baby Nessa Byrne. Meeting Nessa for the first time are Lara and Kay Byrne.

3. Geraldine Jones (second from the left) of Barracks Street, greets her daughter Jamie who home from London. Also pictured are Max von Mensenkampff and Eimear Allen.

4. Just off the Amsterdam flight, Saoirse and Lynda Russell are greeted by Deirdre Russell, of Carrigaline.

5. Home from Dubai is Siobhan Greene (centre), who is greeted by Cian and Mary Greene from Killeagh.

6. Laura Finn is greeted by her parents, Moss and Josephine Finn, and Mindy the dog.

7. Brian, Michael and Abbey Cremin from Millstreet meet Katie O'Shea, who flew home from Geneva.

8. Lauren Healy, home from Swansea, is greeted by grandad George from Knocknaheeny.
