SCIENCE FAIR:

More than 50 exhibitors will take part in this year’s Munster Maths and Science Family Fair in Mallow GAA complex on Sunday from 11.30am to 4.30pm. This free family event, which has been running since 2010, will include interactive experiments, maths games, robotics, 3D visuals and simulations, gaming, physics busking, and Blackrock Castle’s planetarium experience.

SPOOKY TRAIL:

Tickets are now on sale for BOO! at Ballymaloe which will run daily from October 25 to 31 between 10am and 5pm. A host of weird and wonderful characters will lead families through a mysterious trail, with earlier shows from 10am to 1pm for younger trick or treaters. Once the clock strikes 2pm, scare levels will increase for braver souls. Tickets are €15 for ages two upwards.

Tours take one hour and are suitable for children aged seven upwards on Saturdays at 11am, 1pm and 3.30pm from Stop 271 on O’Connell St, €15 per child, or €55 for a family.
