Dáithí Ó Sé dons 'sexy boots' live on Rose of Tralee stage

Rose of Tralee host Dáithí Ó Sé has put his best foot forward in the Dome by donning a pair of kinky boots on stage.

It was the result of a challenge from 2FM Breakfast hosts Eoghan Mc Dermott and Doireann Garrihy, who promised to donate €1,000 to charity Walk In My Shoes if the Kerryman wore a pair of the red over-the-knee boots inspired by musical Kinky Boots on the Rose of Tralee.

A GoFundMe was started and by the final of the contest, over €24k had been donated to the cause.

Confronted live on television by Eoghan and Doireann, viewers were told Dáithí would wear the boots if donations surpassed €25k.

Donations flooded in and soon the target was surpassed and all eyes were on the host.

Before the 2019 Rose was announced, Dáithí came through and strutted his stuff on the Tralee stage.

We reckon he'd be a 'shoe-in' as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots.

All together now... The sex is in the heel so just embrace it
