Dublin woman gives birth in back of dad's taxi on route to hospital

A Dublin woman has given birth in the back of her father's taxi while on route to the hospital.
Stacey, whose due date was Saturday next, went into labour early yesterday morning.
Her dad used his taxi to drive her to the hospital, but his granddaughter arrived before they could get there.
New granddad, Declan, said emergency services were trying to keep him calm over the phone.
He explained that the operator asked if there was any of the baby showing, to which Declan replied there wasn't after his daughter checked.
Declan thought, "that's grand".
"15 seconds later, she said "Declan the head's out". I said "you're joking", at this stage now I was going to have to start breaking a few lights here," he said.
"I got to the junction there at Holles Street and the whole baby came out."
