Do you recognise this photo taken in Cork in the 1980s? Is it you, your mum or your sister?

Eagle-eyed Corkonians are being asked to help track down the three mystery girls in this photo, taken on the iconic Patrick’s Hill in Cork city.

The photo, thought to have been taken by Karl Grabe sometime in the 1980s, is a key part of Nano Nagle Place’s summer exhibition, which begins next month.

Entitled ‘The Changing Face of Cork City’, the outdoor photography exhibition will take place summer from July 5 to August 31.

It features images of Cork city and its people over the last 50 years - from the Irish Examiner archive and from other photographers.

The exhibition heads up a bumper programme of events at Nano Nagle Place, which opened as a tourist attraction in 2017 following a €10 million revamp.

Events this summer include architecture walking tours, which include a private view of the photo exhibition, and National Heritage Week celebrations in August, film screenings and readings.

Nano Nagle Place is trying to track down the girls in the photo, who are likely to be in their 40s today, and is asking anyone who thinks it might be them, a friend or family member to get in contact.

Nano Nagle Place is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am-5pm.
