Lindsay Woods: 'I was hinging my transition into functioning, upright, organised, and general pulled-togetherness on the purchase of a dodgy calendar from Tesco'
There’s a new buzzword doing the rounds — ‘busy’. Specifically, the type of busy where you have to tell everyone about it. Because, being in such a state of frenzy is not worth a jot, unless you can share that you are.
But I don’t have time to tell you that I’m busy because I’m too exhausted from the day-to-day that keeps me eternally running on empty. There is ‘social-media busy’ and then there is ‘being-a-parent busy’; the latter of which is a whole other firestorm in itself.
