Deliveroo reveals the food differences between Cork’s northside and southside

Remember when a bag of chips on a Friday evening after school was such as treat?

Now it’s available with a simple tap of an app.

And although the same service is available to everyone in a few mile radii of a city centre, turns out where you reside has a lot of influence on what you order.

Deliveroo has revealed that Cork, which is undeniably the proudest County and City in Ireland, curiously has differences in opinion when it comes to food preference north and south of the Lee.

Turns out, those north of the Lee are more likely to support local while Corkonians south of the Lee, prefer their food a little spicier.

South of the Lee, Deliveroo customers prefer something a little spicier with Lal Quila in Mahon, Koto along The Lough and Phoenix House in Douglas.

Check out the full list below:

Gurranebraher - Chicken Tenders from Supermacs

Knocknaheeny - The Cheese Burger from Son Of a Bun

As well as taste differences across the Rebel county, Deliveroo’s data reveals that Cork’s third level orders of choice differ significantly.

Cork’s CIT and UCC may have a shared love of carbs, but CIT favours a Mexican from Boojum, while UCC favours an old reliable in the form of Apache Pizza.
