WATCH: Four Irish lads prepare to row across the Atlantic in the middle of Winter
Four Cork lads are attempting to row across the Atlantic on December 15 to raise vital funds for Cork University Hospital Children’s Unit.
The team, dubbed the ‘Relentless Rowers’, hopes to break the current world record by completing the Talisker Whiskey Challenge from the Canary Island of La Gomera to the Caribbean island of Antigua in under 35 days - that’s 5,500km (3,000 nautical miles).
