Ireland 11/2 to have a white Christmas

As we settle into November, it's time to wonder whether Ireland will have a white Christmas this year.

BoyleSports has priced it up and it doesn't look good for fans of snow with no snow on Christmas day at 1/12.

The bookmaker has also priced up which city airport will have snow recorded on Christmas day. Edinburgh is the favourite at 7/2, Dublin at 11/2, while Cork, Manchester, and London are priced at 4/1.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports spokesperson said “In the past few days we have seen the temperatures plummet, but it doesn’t look good for a white Christmas in Ireland as its odds on at 1/12 that it won’t snow on December 25.”

He added “Residents in Cork currently have a better chance of seeing snow on Christmas Day than in Dublin as it’s 4/1 that the Rebel city will record snow on Christmas Day.”

The bets are on. Winter is coming.
