Qantas pilot proves that love is in the air with mid-flight marriage proposal

She must have been on cloud nine….

A Qantas pilot has delighted passengers on a flight to LA by popping the question to his girlfriend over the plane's PA system.

Captain Dooley Ellis made the mid-flight proposal in front of more than 500 passengers who were travelling on the 18-hour flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles last weekend.
