Sheriff issues public warning as ‘Pot Tarts’ found in Utah
Morgan County Sheriff’s Office in Utah has issued a public warning over Pot Tarts and certain gummy bears.
The sweet treats have been trickling over the border from Colorado and are infused with marijuana.
Recreational marijuana use is legal in Colorado and police are having a tough time controlling the influx of products.
The packaging can be deceptive and it is easy to mistake some of these products for their marijuana-free originals.
Candy such as this has sent children to the ER in the past and parents are being warned to be vigilant.
