Thousands of jellyfish washed up on Clare beach

Thousands of jellyfish washed up at Fanore Beach in Clare last Friday.

It looks apocalyptic as the beach is covered with jellyfish.

The Facebook page Burren Shores spotted the mauve stingers (pelagia noctiluca).

We've never seen so many jellyfish!
