Man burgles house and paints dog purple
A man in the US has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a home and painting the family dog purple.
Police in the States responded to a call that a man had broken into a home, stolen items and painted their dog.
A car was also stolen from the house in Martha's Vineyard.
The car was found crashed later, and a man with purple paint on his trousers and credit cards that matched those of the person living in the burgled home, was arrested.
He was charged with:
* Breaking & Entering in the Daytime with the intent to commit a Felony
* Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
* Destruction of Property
* Cruelty to Animals
* Possession of a Class A Substance
* Possession of a Class E Substance
* Assault & Battery on a Police Officer x2
