Puntastic tweets from the guards is setting the tone for this year's Electric Picnic

#EPfever has arrived.

Our policing folk, officially known as An Garda Siochana, have been getting into the festival mood on social media posting some puntastic tweets to drive home their stay safe reminders.

Mixing James Bay lyrics into a safety reminder is pretty savvy stuff.

And as if that wasn't enough they also dropped a few band names into a tweet urging people to remain patient, which is fairly clever.

The guards aren't the only ones tweeting about Electric Picnic this morning, a few enthusiastic festival goers also posted a few pics to give people an idea of the schtyle expected to be destroyed in the mud in a few short hours.
