There has long been a tendency in Ireland to play down any concerns about people who "are fond of the drink".

And while that's happening less and less, there are still a few around that refuse to believe that alcoholism exists in Ireland

Sir Stevo Timothy has made this very funny sketch video that nails that particular attitude and the excuses we make for those who clearly have a problem.
