Cork city and county, as you've never seen it before

Karol Kachmarsky has made this stunning timelapse video featuring shots of cathedrals, coast and city streets.

Sometime you need to see things through someone else's eyes to really appreciate them.

Photographer Karol Kachmarsky, who specialises in landscape and time-lapse photography, has put together this video that truly captures the atmosphere of Cork city and the surrounding areas.

Karol describes the video as "focusing on iconic scenes of Cork City and wrapping them in a contemporary form, this film translates the unique Cork experience into an immersive visual delight".

With new perspectives on the usual Cork landmarks as well as a look at modern city life, this isn't your average pretty-shots-of-Irish-landscape video.

It took Karol over a year and a half to collect and edit the photos.
