Fawn saved from middle of lake in Texas

While out on a boat in Texas, two friends came across a fawn struggling to stay above the water.

Although fawns are known to be great swimmers, this one was alone and in the middle of Lake Buchanan which is the largest Texas Highland Lake.

The fawn is extremely calm when it is brought to the boat and seems to be enjoying a rest on its hero's lap.

Perhaps this little fawn overestimated its swimming ability.

Life certainly seems better on dry land.
