Nine-year-old gives her mom the guilt trip after argument with handwritten letter

This kid pulls no punches in a letter written to her mother after they had an argument.

Serious emotional blackmail was in play as this nine-year-old turned her mum to a guilty, weeping mess by telling her she shattered her heart thanks to comments made in a heated dispute.

The conflict was caused when little Ellie refused to clean up her room and told her mom she wanted to be sold on eBay *kids*, to which her mother retorted nobody would buy her.

This comment apparently hit home for poor Ellie and in a make-up letter she wrote to her mom she told her the withering remark had ‘shattered her heart’.

Perhaps it is a bit cynical to presume that a nine-year-old has the social skills to emotionally manipulate her mother, but either way, it had a profound effect on her mom and thankfully the two have since made up and repaired Ellie’s important artery.

Just goes to show, you need to be careful what you say especially in heated moments with loved ones because it could come back to bite you.

Thankfully open communication in this case brought the bitter row to a sweet end.
