Watch these nuns become swinging sisters on the sand

Sister Act eat you heart out.

In a bid to promote World Youth Day a group of nuns from Poland decided they needed to do something out of the ordinary.

The nuns, from Mysliborz near the German border, came up with the idea to choreograph a special dance to highlight the event - which is being held in Krakow from July 25-31.

The video begins with the nuns setting up a poster of Jesus (of course), before they launch into their performance as local youths watch on.

Their timing might be slightly of at times, but there is no faulting the nun's effort or enthusiasm for the dance.

Watch out for a funny mishap with the Jesus poster towards the end…
