Stranded scuba diver captures what he believes will be his last words

A scuba diver, stranded 30 miles from the coast, captured what he believed would be his last words.

“Well, doesn’t look like anybody’s coming. The sun is going down. I tried to chase after a trawler for an hour but obviously I couldn’t keep up.”

After swimming after a trawler for an hour Jake started to lose hope as the sun began to set and he dejectedly explains that nobody will come looking for him after dark.

“When the sun goes down they won’t do nothing, and that’s a wrap on old Jakey.”

He struggles to keep his head away from passing waves and begins to show how tired he really is.

However, a small plane and helicopter manage to locate him (with great difficulty) after nightfall.
