Man 'showers Derry shoppers with genuine £10 and £20 notes'

A mystery man has reportedly thrown banknotes to unsuspected shoppers at a shopping centre in Derry.

The Derry Journal reported that the unknown man threw a mixture of £10 and £20 notes from the first floor of the Foyleside centre.

Police examined the money and said it was genuine, and stated that no crime was committed.

The man's identity is yet to be discovered.
