Speeding van done for … speeding?

It can happen anywhere at any time and we learned today nobody is safe.

The speed police are out in force and they are tracking down anyone who dares to break the limit.

This photo, taken by Karen Lynch, shows a speeding van pulled over by some hard-working officers in Limerick.

It is suggested that in the irony of all ironies, the van is getting a speeding ticket for driving outside the local limit near the Parkway Shopping Centre in Limerick city.

We reckon this was a pretty awkward situation for all involved.
