Elephant charges truck, flips it

The scary moment was captured on video.

Elephants may seem like gentle giants but tell that to the passengers in this truck.

Rudie Swanepoel, the owner of Africa Game Farm Estates, shared this video taken at the Maputo Game Reserve in South Africa on Monday, which shows an elephant charging towards the vehicle, before flipping it on its side.

Rudie also posted photos of the severely damaged truck lying on its side.

Unfortunately, the elephant didn't get away unscathed either, leaving behind what looks like a piece of broken tusk.

Some commenters have criticised the driver for not heeding the challenge signals the elephant was making and driving away.
