Jesse Williams delivers powerful speech on racism at BET Awards

Jesse Williams delivered a powerful speech on racism at the BET Awards on Sunday night.
The BET Awards featured tributes to Prince and Muhammad Ali and an incredible performance by Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar.
However, Williams stole the spotlight with a passionate speech calling for an end to police brutality and dedicated his award to "the black women who have spent their lifetimes dedicated to nurturing everyone before themselves".
The evening was politically charged, Usher had the words "Don't Trump America" written across his back and Taraji P. Henson warned the audience about Donald Trump during her acceptance speech.
Williams delivered his speech in almost five minutes after accepting this year's humanitarian award and it was pure poetry.
