Watch this golfer get a chilly finish to his putting shot

A dedicated golfer went to extreme lengths to get a good shot at his ball after it rolled a little too close to the water's edge.

Not deterred from the challenge, the golfer balanced himself at the water’s edge to take his shot.

Seeing an opportunity for hilarity, Instagram user Tom Solomonson took out his phone and started filming.

And as expected the golfer perched precariously at the edge of the pond fell back as he hit his ball and was soon submerged in the freezing cold pond water.

Clearly not a bit worried for their friend, the video then shows his comrades cracking up laughing as the golfer clambered out of the water.

We wonder how far this guy’s dedication to the sport goes –did he finish the last three holes in his wet clothes?
