The video has now been viewed close to 140m times since Candace posted it last Thursday evening and it even led to a surge in sales of the mask in the US. It is now the most watched Facebook live-stream of all time.

The public just couldn’t enough of her booming laugh, but it seems it’s Candace’s genuine excitement at her new toy that’s endeared her to the world.

Chat shows have been understandably falling over themselves to have Candace on and last night she appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Candace took James through her crazy weekend after becoming a viral sensation, but the host had a big surprise in store for her.

Having planned to a sketch based on the show’s popular carpool segment, James didn’t tell Candace that there was a special third player in their act. Poor Candace almost fell to the floor when she was introduced to Star Wars director JJ Abrams.

James had yet another shock up his sleeve for Candace, she's going to meet Chewbacca himself, Peter Mayhew in two weeks time.
