Student makes apology cake for her teacher for being late to class every day
Revenge is a dish best served cold, but an apology is a dessert best served sweet.
That seems to be the line 17-year-old Jenny Hudak was going for when she made an apology cake for her teacher for being late to class all year.
The cake was inscribed with the thought-provoking sentiment āSorry I was late to your class every day.ā
Certainly beats an apple anyway.
Jenny presented her maths teacher with the cake at the end of the year and got a friend to take a few pictures to remember the gesture.
Her teacher, named Shern, seemed to take the humorous gift quite well.
Jenny posted it on Twitter where it was picked up by a Victoria Secret model āCommon White Girlā and retweeted almost 25,000 times as well as gathering 69,000 likes.
Since then the story has been retold by major media sites including Buzzfeed who spoke to Jenny about the cake.
Jenny told them she had been so busy with other projects at school that she felt bad about being late for maths class every day and had to do something to make up for it.
Sugar, the solution to all lifeās little conundrums!
