A family heirloom teddy bear that had been in the family for over 35 years has been returned to its rightful owner after being lost on a flight home from Faro earlier this week.
‘Brown bear’ was left behind on the flight by his young owner, who forgot his friend in the midst of travelling from Faro home to Ireland.
It was only when the family got home that they realised the very special teddy bear was missing and the little boy who had been minding Brown bear was very upset.
Brown bear had been given to the young chap by his aunt and he was very attached to his cuddly bear.
Thankfully for all involved a friend of the family contacted Cork Airport to see if they might have found the precious bear and low and behold the cuddly teddy was found in the Aer Lingus lost property section.
The family were notified over Facebook that the bear had been found and it was then just a matter of time before Brown bear was reunited with his young friend once again!
All’s well that ends well!
