Police spend four hours in hot pursuit of a cow wandering in Texas

A cow led Texas police on a four hour chase recently as the animal ran amuck in Arlington.

A cow led Texas police on a four hour chase recently when the animal ran amuck in Arlington.

A police car was filmed following the cow as it meandered the streets of the Texas suburb while pausing every now and again to munch on some grass.

The chase continued until an officer on horseback came along and wrangled the cow with a rope.

The cow was then safely returned to a closed off field and the citizens of Arlington were safe once again.

As the presenter said: “only in Texas!”
