Every GAA club has characters like the ones in this video
GAA clubs all around the country are loaded with local characters.
For years now Meath man Rory O’Connor has used personalities including the cocky free-taker, the dirty corner back and the mental manager as an inspiration for his hugely popular Rory’s Stories Facebook page.
The mainly GAA-themed comedy page has around 200,000 likes - its popularity has encouraged Rory to take on other topics such as English soccer and Conor McGregor.
Seeing his popularity, the guys from RTÉ Two’s Republic of Telly invited Rory to take a gallop through a number of his characters in one stretch.
Rory of course rose to the challenge and his efforts featured on last night’s show.
We especially love the biased umpire.
