Colorado reporter tells people buying legal marijuana ‘put on some pants’
American news anchor Jeremy Hubbard noticed a rather strange event as he went to pick up his dry cleaning yesterday.
Marijuana became legal in the state through the Colorado Amendment 64 vote in November 2012 and the public (over 21 years of age) are allowed to carry up to an ounce of marijuana on them for recreational purposes while travelling.
Hubbard has no problem with that law, but what was troubling the reporter was the fact that he saw a young lady walk into a dispensary in her underwear.
“Alright Colorado, I love ya,” said Hubbard. “But, we gotta start putting on pants when we’re going to buy marijuana.”
“The eyes of the world are upon us. Everyone is watching how we handle legal marijuana.”
It’s kind of hard to argue with him on this one.
