Strangers show up with presents for newborn after text sent to the wrong number

A text message mix-up led to this very cute encounter

When Dennis Williams received a text from an unknown number informing him of a couple's happy news that they were in the hospital about to give birth and that the expectant mother was 5-6cm dilated, we imagine that he was a little confused.

Florida-native Dennis had been accidentally added to a group message - he texted them back to let them know that they had the wrong number but the next message back was a pic of the new arrival with the words: “7 lbs. 11 oz.”
