Marching band takes to the streets of Cork for impromptu Paddy's night performance
Last night, a little after midnight, Paddy's Day revellers in Cork were treated to something a little different when a marching band appeared out of nowhere, dressed in their full regalia and swaggering down the street.
The Amarillo Pipe Band from Texas blasted out some music as they made their way down Oliver Plunkett Street before turning into the Oliver Plunkett Bar.
They even gave an impromptu performance with the band on stage, Poc Ar Buile - and Steve Guiney, manager of the Oliver Plunkett, promises that may be more to follow over the weekend.
Now that looks like fun.
