Watch the Healy Raes explain how Danny registered for election -it wasn't easy

There ain’t no show like a Healy Rae show and this is proof of it.

The Healy Raes were the highlight of the Late Late last night regaling Ryan with their Kerry chat.

Michael and Danny took to the comfortable couch of The Late Late Show to share with the world their wise witticisms and cultural craic.

But while what the people got was certainly amusing we are not really sure there is wisdom in any of it.

Danny was relaying to Tubridy how it came about that he decided to run for election, and instead of politics and campaign talk, Ryan was treated to a minute by minute break-down of the day Danny registered-which happened to be the last day of registration.

In a long and tumultuous tale involving a car with no petrol, a photo ID not on a ‘disc or stick’ and getting the lift with ten minutes to spare, Danny made the task of getting 9,991 votes looked easy.
