Toddler miraculously escapes harm after rolling out of van onto busy road
A two-year-old had an unbelievably lucky escape when he fell out the back of his grandfather's van mid-traffic.
The heart-stopping incident, which happened in Suzhou in China on February 27, was captured by another car's dashcam.
In the video, the white van stops at a traffic light and, suddenly, the boot pops open and the toddler rolls out as the van drives away.
Displaying the remarkable resilience of toddlers, the child seems completely unhurt - and unfazed -as he runs after the van along the busy road.
Thankfully, a fellow motorist stopped to look after the boy and his grandfather, Yang Defu, returns soon after being alerted to what has happened.
"I was waiting at the red light. After passing the intersection, a car chased after me and kept sounding the horn. The driver told me a kid fell out of my van. I looked back, parked my van aside, and went back to search for my grandson,â said Yang.
RT reports that the grandfather said that the back of his van had suffered damage during Chinese New Year celebrations last month, which causes the door to pop open without warning.
