Be thankful you're not in a job where you have to dodge massive boulders.

Landslide gets too close for comfort for workers clearing road

Some workers with the Idaho Transportation Department were clearing a highway recently when they had a very close call.

Apparently, Highway 14 near Elk City often gets small debris falling onto it, and since it's the only road in and out of the city it has to be cleared.

Enter Bret Edwards and his crew who are often assigned the job.

The lads know to stop and get out of the way whenever small rocks start coming down, but this time the trickle turned into a deluge as massive rocks plummeted towards them and their machines.

Added to the threat of being crushed by a boulder was the fact that there were overhead power lines that came crashing down onto a front loader, right where Bret was standing.

His wife Londa, who uploaded the footage, was very relieved that her husband and his workmates escaped the onrushing barrage.
