Monkey in Brazil drinks rum, chases patrons from the bar with knife

A monkey caused a bit of a scene at a bar in Paraiba, Brazil after knocking back a couple of drinks and brandishing a knife at patrons.
The capuchin monkey entered the bar where it proceeded to drink the ends of some drinks before somehow getting hold of a large knife.
"It was a bar staff oversight that ended with the monkey drinking some rum and taking the knife," fire department chief Saul Laurentino told the aRede website.
That's one hell of an oversight.
According to the Mirror, the monkey then chased the men from the bar, leaving the women ”to drink in relative peace”.
A video filmed on February 5th claims to show the monkey after the incident, sitting on the roof, casually poking the knife into the corrugated iron.
The monkey was eventually caught by firefighters who confiscated his knife before releasing him back into the wild.
But, later, the same monkey was caught acting aggressively towards some children.
We had to recapture him because he was causing problems and threatening children living near the reserve,” Laurentino said.
“We will forward it on Saturday to the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA) in Sousa. There, they will evaluate whether the animal is able to return to the environment or if it will need to live in captivity.”
