Brown Thomas has been given a pub licence at their Grafton St store

Big changes are in motion over at Brown Thomas as the Dublin retailer has gotten permission for a full pub licence in its Grafton Street store.
Shopping will never be the same again as reluctant shoppers will now be able to disappear off to the bar, leaving friends, family, partners and lovers alone with their one true love: their credit card.
The third floor of the building is going to be renovated to make the most of the new licence.
Finally couples can agree to disagree on an afternoon or weekend activity by going to the same place but engaging in very different activities.
It is a combination of two very popular pasttimes that will make a lot of people very happy and could also lead to a number of bad fashion decisions.
Only time will tell how this new venture works out, but we bet there are a lot of people already looking forward to the opening!
