Cheeky thief sends explanation note to man after keeping his wallet, cash and metrocard
So often the internet gives us feel good stories about good Samaritans helping out others in need, well we must be scraping the bottom of the barrel because this story has only a morsel of good will in it.
A man called Reilly Flaherty lost his wallet in New York City. He had all his credit cards, his driving licence, cash and his metro card in the wallet and aside from the cash we all know how annoying it is to have to replace all your cards when they get lost.
Thankfully for Mr Flaherty, someone found his wallet and returned it to the address on his driver’s licence –well actually someone returned of his wallet.
The rogue who found it decided to go through the wallet, taking anything that took his fancy and returning the things he didn’t want.
Mr Flaherty got back his credit cards and driver’s licence but lost his wallet, cash and metro card as the cheeky thief explained, he needed to buy weed, the metro is very expensive and his wallet was kind of nice.
The cards and licence were returned with a note:
