This lady went for a laugh-out-loud one liner that is sure to bring a smile to her fella’s lips every time he reads it.

Amanda Tallman and her husband Dan have recently becomes the internet’s favourite people since his ring inscribed with “Put it back on” inside was posted on Imgur and Reddit by his best friend.

Married five years and still wearing their rings, the happy couple and the cheekily inscribed ring has warmed the hearts of internet users all over the world.

Soon all kind of media outlets were chasing them down for comment and the original post has been viewed almost a million times.

Apparently Amanda said she slipped a note to the jeweller when she was getting them done.

Dan told the Huffington Post he had no idea there was anything inscribed on the ring until he took it off after trying it on.

Describing his wife as a “prankster” with a great sense of humour Dan said he found the joke very funny and five years on the joke has proven the test of time.
