Roddy Doyle has honoured Alan Rickman with his very own obituary chat in his ongoing online story ‘Two pints’.

In the chat the two men discuss Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber in Die Hard and how he was so good they almost wanted the baddie to win.

It is another example of how engrained Alan Rickman has been in society, casually dropped into conversations up and down the country and the impact his characters have had on the world, still remembered today as the villain everybody loved to hate.
