British comedian Ricky Gervais has almost become a staple at the Golden Globes Awards after hosting the ceremony for the fourth time this year.

Gervais hosted three times in a row between 2010 and 2012, before being asked back again this year.

The Gervais-fronted ceremonies have become infamous as the comedian tends to spend the whole show either insulting the celebrities or telling uncomfortable, controversial jokes.

However, it must be said they are also a must-watch.
