Jean Byrne's Bowie-esque outfit divided Twitter last night

The RTÉ weather presenter is well known for her adventurous fashion choices.

RTÉ's Jean Byrne is well-known for her out-there fashion choices and often wears eye-catching ensembles which can sometimes help distract from the depressing weather reports she has to deliver.

And last night's choice - complete with shoulder spikes - got a lot of people talking. As usual, some loved it, some hated it and others were just confused.

Yet again Jean Byrne's outfit distracts from the actual forecast. Something about rain or sun or sleet or wind. Morgana le Fey cosplay?

But some wondered if her look was, in fact, a tribute to the late David Bowie - no stranger to a divisive sartorial choice himself.
